How KINeSYS SPF 30 Clear Zinc differs from other products on the market

Unlike most common zinc sunscreens, our SPF 30 Clear Zinc with 25% Zinc Oxide is a natural sunscreen, elegant in its feel, scent and appearance. It protects you with a physical, 100% mineral barrier and without synthetic preservatives. The light scent of natural preservatives Peppermint and Rosemary is refreshing, and the aloe leaf, coconut oil and sunflower seed oil will nourish your skin.

The white-look left by traditional zincs is a thing of the past. The premium, micronized zinc we use in our formula has a high transparency, meaning you can choose to retain a white finish or rub in for a transparent finish.

How to apply mineral sunscreen:

The thick cream formula of our natural Zinc is designed to be easy to apply, even on little ones. However, the process for application is slightly different to that of lotions and sprays, and we suggest following the steps below to make applying our Zinc easy and to ensure proper coverage.

When applying, Think “SPF”

1. Soften product in your hands to help make our thick cream formula easier to apply.
2. Pat over all exposed skin in sections. Our Zinc goes on white, making it easy to see where it’s been applied, and simple to spot any missed patches.
3. Fully rub in section-by-section. Working in small sections is the best way to ensure coverage.

Mineral sunscreens work by reflecting harmful UV rays from the sun, so proper coverage to all exposed areas is critical. Ensure you’ve used enough of your zinc oxide sunscreen before heading out into the sun.

Unlike traditional chemical sunscreens, there’s no need to wait 20 minutes for our clear zinc to be effective – but apply we suggest applying before heading outdoors to ensure no sun exposure and full coverage to all exposed skin.

The water-resistant formula rubs in clear and is non-reflective, making it as perfect for those high-altitude sports like skiing and snowboarding as it is for watersports, triathlon, and more.  

KINeSYS SPF 30 Clear Zinc is also sweat and water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Be sure to reapply your mineral sunscreen after 80 minutes if you’ve been in the water, and after 2 hours in the sun.
